Situated in the Village of Edale in Derbyshire, at the start of the Pennine Way, The Old Nag’s Head dates back to 1577 and is surrounded by some of the best walking country in the land.
Overlooked to the North by Kinder Scout, made famous by the Mass Trespass of 1932, and residing in one of the World’s most visited national parks – the Peak District – The Old Nags Head is listed as one of the 100 greatest pubs of England.
With fantastic views of surrounding countryside and authentic and ever-welcoming log fires the pub is child, pet and muddy-boot friendly. Offering a wide range or lagers, ciders, bottles and draught, it even has it’s very own ale, ‘The Nags 1577′. This alone draws visitors from far and wide and nobody leaves disappointed.
If a friendly smile and a warm welcome are what you are looking for after a day of rambling and hiking, then be sure to stop in at The Old Nags Head.
