On the shore of Olstappen Lake just 40 minutes’ drive from the town of Vinstra, Skåbu Hyttegrend offers traditional cottage accommodation complete with wood-burning stoves. Guests can try ice fishing in the winter or horse riding in the summer.
The modern cottages at Skåbu Hyttegrend have a pine-clad interior, living/kitchen/dining areas with satellite TV, and a private bathroom.
During the summer there is a small shop selling groceries, while there is also a supermarket in the village of Skåbu 7 km away. Free Wi-Fi is available in the site reception.
The area has many hiking and cross-country skiing trails, with skis available for hire. In the summer guests can also rent bicycles, boats and canoes.
Located between Jotunheimen National Park and Rondane National Park, the site lies 90 km north of Lillehammer.
