You’ll feel as if you are miles from anywhere the moment you enter our private latticed courtyard. Chelsea Garden Inn is a wonderful place to truly relax and enjoy the wonders of Calistoga and the wine country.

Lush Surroundings
Jasmine, roses, and grapevines blend with tropical plants, bamboo and palm trees to surround you with luxuriant greenery. Fall and winter guests will enjoy the deepening shades of our Japanese maple and the fullness of our grapevines. Spring and summer brings blossoms and blooms along the garden path.

Pool & Social Room
Sun seekers will love our swimming pool area, which features recliners and umbrella-shaded tables. Guests enjoy swimming May through October. Our sunny poolside social room with its vaulted ceiling, French doors, large fireplace, and wonderful library offers a great spot to read or converse with other guests.

Adorned with kitschy cowboy decor and log cabin Trompe L'oeil, our whimsical two-bedroom cottage is a clear departure from the ordinary. Bright and spacious with a small kitchenette, a comfy living room, with a King bed in one bedroom and Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, the cottage revels in retro Western style.

A pot-bellied stove fireplace, a rocking chair, and overstuffed chair define the living room, while witty, hand-painted rooster plates embellish the kitchen walls. Furnished with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, flat screen television with DVD/VCR, video library, and a dinette table, the cottage is a great option for families and longer stays. The living room sofa folds out to accommodate an extra guest. The private bath features a tub and shower.

Cool and calm as a gentle spring breeze, the relaxing Garden Room is a lovely haven with a private patio leading to the pool area. With lots of natural light, soothing tones of green and rose, and white wicker furniture, this charming room feels like a summer day. Large picture windows stream sunshine onto the two sitting areas while a white wicker headboard dresses the king-size bed. A private bath features a shower and a separate powder room area. The room also offers a pot-bellied stove fireplace and additional amenities, such as a refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, television with DVD/VCR, and a video library

A glorious antique bureau mixes with wicker chairs and Asian-inspired art to create an invitingly eclectic environment. The separate sitting room offers a pot-bellied stove fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, writing desk, coffeemaker, television with DVD/VCR , video library, and a comfy day bed that can accommodate a third person. Reminiscent of a sunny summer bungalow, this bright, airy suite is dressed in vibrant peach accented with cool blue gingham and chintz furnishings, blue and white china, and floral pillows. French doors open from the lavender-lined stairs into the spacious suite. The sitting room is complete with trundle day bed, chairs, television with DVD/VCR, writing desk, armoire, a built-in china display cabinet, and a quartet of original floral paintings, video library, microwave, refrigerator. The bedroom boasts a queen-size bed, and pot-bellied stove fireplace. A claw-foot tub with shower attachment and a vanity table and chair grace the bathroom. The trundle day bed can be opened to a double bed or left apart for 1 or 2 singles. This suite and the Palm Suite can be opened up to each other for families or couples traveling together.

Awash with sunshine, the spacious Palm Suite features an enormous separate living room with hardwood floors, lots of windows, and Pacific Rim accents. With a pot-bellied stove fireplace, an Asian-styled conversation area with sofa and chairs, video library, and a flat-screen television with DVD/VCR, it’s a calming space to kick back and relax. In the bedroom, a matching mahogany bedroom set features a queen-size bed and dresser. A second queen-size bed in the conversation area allows the room to sleep 3-4 people. There is a convenience nook with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and wine glasses. A charming writing desk overlooks the lush garden walkway and a full-size closet offers plenty of space to store luggage (and treasures from your Calistoga shopping trips!). The private bath features a tub and shower. This suite and the Lavender Suite can be opened up to each other for families or couples traveling together.
